Shipping & Delivery

Laser Cutter: The Laser Cutter and Laser Cutter Bundle will be delivered via LTL (less than truckload) on a pallet with a total weight of approximately 100 pounds.  If you are ordering the Laser Cutter Bundle, the Laser Cutter and the BOFA Filtration System will ship separately.  You will be required to schedule two separate delivery windows.  The LTL carrier will contact you with a target delivery window; please be sure to provide complete contact information during the checkout process.  Two people will be required to move the Laser Cutter or Laser Cutter Bundle safely.

All Other Items: All other items will bedelivered via USPS or UPS depending on the weight and size of the package.  You will receive an email once the order has shipped with tracking information.  A signature may be required for the delivery of some packages.

Return for Refund

Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery of the product, and only items that are unused, unopened, and resalable can be returned for refund.

Laser Cutter: The Laser Cutter must be returned to Dremel via an LTL (less than truckload) carrier on a pallet.  To prepare for the shipment, the Laser Cutter must be packaged in the original materials.  Dremel is not responsible for damage that is incurred due to incomplete packaging.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay shipping fees for returns that are not covered under warranty repair.  Returns that are not covered under warranty incur a restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount:

  • Laser Cutter: $600
  • Laser Bundle: $1,200

To initiate an LTL return for refund, please contact Dremel at 1-844-437-6533.

All Other Items: Package the product in a box using packing material to eliminate extra space, and include a note with your name, phone number, mailing address, email address and the reason for the return.

Using the carrier of your choice, ship the package to Dremel at the below address.  We recommend shipping with tracking and insurance, and retaining the documentation in the event the tool does not arrive.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay return shipping fees for returns that are not covered under warranty repair. Returns that are not covered under warranty incur a restocking fee of 10% of the total purchase price, which will be deducted from the refund amount.

Return for Repair

Laser Cutter:Before sending back a Laser Cutter for repair, contact Dremel at 1-844-437-6533.  A Customer Service Representative will work with you to repair the Laser Cutter via phone consultation.  If repair by a Dremel Service Technician is required, pickup arrangements will be made via an LTL (less than truckload) carrier.

To prepare for the shipment, the Laser Cutter must be packaged in the original materials; refer to the packaging instructionsfor more details, and be accessible to the carrier at an exterior door, and with someone 18 years of age or over present. The carrier will provide a pickup receipt.  Once repaired, the Laser will be returned to you via LTL (Light Truck Load) carrier on a pallet with a total weight of approximately 100 pounds. The LTL carrier will contact you with a target delivery window.  It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay for return shipping fees for repairs that are not covered under warranty.

 

BOFA Filtration System

Before sending back the BOFA Filter for repair, you should contact BOFA at 1-618-205-5007; a BOFA Customer Service Representative will work with you to repair the BOFA system via phone consultation.  If repair by a BOFA Service Technician is required, BOFA will make service arrangements.

All Other Items: Before sending back a product for repair, please contact Dremel Customer Service to obtain a repair form:

Complete the repair form, and include it along with a copy of your receipt, in the box. If you do not have a copy of the receipt, write down an approximate purchase date.  Detailed notes on the troubles that you are experiencing will greatly help our technicians.

Package the returned items to protect them in shipment. Dremel recommends the purchase of insurance to protect against loss or accidental damage for which we cannot be responsible, and that it be shipped with tracking.  Retain the documentation in the event the tool does not arrive.

  • Corded Tools: Ship the tool only
  • Cordless Tools: Ship the tool, battery and charger for a complete system analysis and repair
  • 3D Printers: Ship the 3D printer and cord

Once we receive the product, it will be evaluated. If there is a charge for the repair, we will contact you directly. If not, we will complete the repair and get the product back to you via USPS or UPS depending on the weight and size of the item.  It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay for return shipping fees for repairs that are not covered under warranty.
